A tour of Settings

A map of the Settings side rail so you know where every workspace, team, and billing control lives.

Settings is where you manage everything behind the scenes — your profile, your team, messaging, your CRM data, and billing. This tour walks the side rail so you always know which tab to open.

Find your way around Settings

Open Settings and you'll see a side rail on the left grouping every control into sections. On smaller screens that rail becomes a scrollable row of pills across the top. Selecting an item swaps the panel on the right.

  1. Open Settings

Click Settings from the main navigation. You'll land on the Profile tab by default.

  2. Pick a section from the rail

The rail is grouped into Account, Team, Lead intake, Messaging, CRM, and Billing. Click any item to open its panel.

  3. Notice what's available to you

The exact tabs you see depend on your role and permissions, so your rail may be shorter than a teammate's.

What each tab does

Here's where each control lives, top to bottom:

  • Profile — your name, photo, and personal preferences. This is the default landing tab. See setting up your profile.
  • Organization — your workspace name, time zone, and shared org details.
  • Team — invite teammates, manage roles, and set availability. Open it from Team.
  • Lead routing — rules that decide who new leads go to.
  • Phone numbers — provision and assign the numbers your team calls and texts from, at Phone numbers.
  • SMS compliance — your A2P registration for texting, at SMS compliance.
  • Email — connect the inbox SAMI sends and logs email from.
  • Templates — reusable email and text templates, at Templates.
  • Integrations — connect outside tools, API keys, and lead-parser sources.
  • Custom fields — extra fields for your contacts and Pipeline.
  • Imports — bring contacts in from a CSV or another CRM.
  • Billing — your plan and payment details, at Billing.

Why some tabs are hidden

The rail adapts to your role, so you only see what you can act on. Email and Billing are owner-only — if you're not the account owner, they won't appear. Phone numbers and SMS compliance are owner-only too.

Other tabs depend on specific permissions: Lead routing needs lead-flow access, Templates needs template access, and Custom fields and Imports need custom-field access. If a tab is missing, it usually means your role doesn't include that permission rather than the feature being unavailable.

Missing a tab you expected? Ask your account owner to check your role. The full breakdown lives in understanding roles and permissions.
