Edit section content and styling

Every section on your site has two ways to edit it: click text right in the live preview to rewrite it, or open the section's settings panel to change its content, images, background, and colors. This guide covers both.

Edit text inline in the preview

In the website builder, most headings, subheadings, body copy, and list items are editable where they sit. Click the text in the preview and start typing.

1. Click the text you want to change

   Hover over a heading, paragraph, or list item — it highlights to show it's editable. Click once to place your cursor inside it.

2. Type your new copy

   Edit the text in place. A small formatting toolbar appears above the field with Bold, Italic, Underline, and a font-size picker for quick emphasis.

3. Click away to save

   Click outside the text to commit your change, or press Enter on a single-line field. Press Escape to discard and revert to the previous text.

Change content and images in the settings panel

Select a section to open its settings panel. The panel header shows the section's name, and the fields below match that section's type — headings and subheadings, the items in a Features, Testimonials, or FAQ list, and so on. Use the Add button to add a list item and the trash icon to remove one.

Images use the same uploader everywhere: click to upload a photo and drag to reposition it within the frame. You'll find it on hero backgrounds, team and testimonial photos, city tiles, and section images. Where a field links somewhere — a button, a nav item, or a city tile — a link picker lets you point it at one of your own pages, so links stay correct as your site grows.

Set the section background and colors

Every section shares two universal controls at the top of its panel:

• Section Background — choose None, Color (pick a hex value), or Image (upload and position a background photo).
• Section Colors — override the Accent / Button Color and the Text / Heading Color for just that section. Click Reset to fall back to your site theme.

Configure the listings section

The Listings section pulls live properties from your MLS on the published site. In its settings you can set the Listing Source (Featured, Recently Added, or Recently Sold), the Max Listings to show, and the number of Grid Columns. Turn on Show For Rent/Sale tabs to let visitors switch between rentals and sales, and rename those tabs if you like. Optional filters narrow results by property type, city, and price range. Captured leads from your site flow into Contacts, ready to route or hand to your SAMI Bots.
