Automating CINC leads with workflows
Connect a CINC account, trigger workflows on CINC events, and push leads and notes back to CINC.
If your leads live in CINC, you can start workflows the moment something changes there — and write leads, updates, and notes back to CINC automatically. This article covers connecting your CINC account, the CINC triggers, and the CINC action steps.
Connect your CINC account
CINC triggers and action steps only work once a CINC account is connected in the workflow builder. You connect by entering your exact CINC website domain, then logging in to authorize the link.
Open a workflow
Go to Workflows and open the workflow you want to edit, or create a new one.
Pick CINC in the app picker
Open the trigger node — or add a step — and choose CINC from the app picker.
Enter your CINC website
In the CINC Website field, type your exact site domain (for example,
listingsinbroward.com). CINC requires the exact domain before it will authorize the connection.Log in to CINC
Click Log in to CINC and complete the CINC login. Once connected, the button changes to Manage CINC login and you can select that account in CINC triggers and steps.
Enter the domain exactly — drop https:// and www. If the field is empty or the domain is malformed, you'll be prompted to enter the CINC website domain before the connection can authorize.
Start a workflow from a CINC event
CINC triggers sit in the CINC group of the trigger picker. Each one fires when the matching event happens in your connected CINC site, enrolling that lead so your steps run.
- CINC New Lead — a brand-new lead is created in CINC.
- CINC New Inquiry — an existing lead submits a new inquiry.
- CINC Lead Details Updated — a lead's information changes.
- CINC Agent Assigned — a lead is assigned to an agent.
- CINC Label Applied — a label is added to a lead.
- CINC Note Applied — a note is added to a lead.
For a refresher on how triggers enroll contacts, see Choosing a trigger. Every CINC trigger needs a connected CINC account — without one, the workflow won't publish.
Write back to CINC with action steps
Three CINC action steps live in the Integrations group of the step palette, so your workflow can update CINC instead of just reading from it.
- CINC Create Lead — creates a new lead in CINC. An email address is required.
- CINC Update Lead — updates an existing CINC lead.
- CINC Add Note — adds a note to an existing CINC lead.
CINC Update Lead and CINC Add Note need a way to find the right record: include either a CINC lead ID or an email address. With neither, the workflow can't match the lead and won't publish. Map these from the trigger data so each run targets the correct lead.
Pair these with the trigger data you collected — for example, fire on CINC New Lead, qualify the contact through your steps, then use CINC Add Note to log the outcome back in CINC. You can mix CINC steps with the rest of the builder, including SMS, your SAMI Bots, and Pipeline stage changes, to run the whole follow-up in one place.
