Use the SAMI summary and lead score
Read SAMI's concise contact summary and compact lead score to prioritize the next move.
SAMI summarizes the activity that matters on a contact record so you can prioritize outreach without reading the entire timeline. The summary is a concise two- or three-sentence narrative, paired with the contact's compact lead-score badge.
Read the SAMI summary
On desktop, the SAMI summary is always visible as a compact banner across the top of the activity and right-hand area. On mobile, it is a View SAMI summary disclosure inside the Activity section.
Open a contact
From Contacts, click a person to open their record.
Find the summary
On desktop, read the banner above the activity. On mobile, open Activity, then expand View SAMI summary.
Use the current context
Read the short narrative and the lead-score badge, then use the activity timeline, a message, a call, or a SAMI Bots sequence for the next move.
On mobile, SAMI does not check or generate a summary until you first expand the disclosure. This keeps a quick Activity view from starting work you did not ask to see.
Understand the lead score
The lead score is a heuristic fit signal for outreach priority, shown as a number from 0–100 alongside a temperature badge:
- Hot — score 70 or above. Prioritize these; the signals point to a ready, engaged lead.
- Warm — score 40–69. Worth nurturing with steady follow-up.
- Cold — below 40. Low priority right now, but keep them in your long-term cadence.
The score reflects fit and engagement signals on the record, not a guarantee. Treat it as a way to sort your day, then trust your own read of the conversation.
Keep the summary current
SAMI checks the summary automatically when you view a contact. If qualifying activity makes it stale, SAMI refreshes it without a normal Generate or Regenerate button.
If there is already a summary, it stays visible while SAMI works. The banner shows SAMI is thinking... when it is creating the first summary and SAMI is updating... when it is refreshing an existing one.
If an update fails, SAMI keeps the last available summary on screen and shows Retry. Retry is the only manual action; use it after a failure rather than looking for a routine refresh control.
The lead score remains a compact Hot, Warm, or Cold badge. It is a heuristic for outreach priority, not a guarantee—use it alongside the summary and the conversation itself.
