Connect SAMI OS to Zapier
Accept the private SAMI OS Zapier invite and create an API key to power your Zaps.
Zapier lets you connect SAMI OS to thousands of other apps without writing code. Setup is two steps: accept the private SAMI OS Zapier app invite, then create an API key that authenticates the connection.
Step 1: Accept the Zapier app invite
The SAMI OS Zapier app is private, so you have to accept an invite before it shows up in your Zapier account. You'll find the invite link in Settings → Integrations, on the Zapier/API Keys card.
Open the Zapier/API Keys panel
Head to Settings → Integrations and select the Zapier/API Keys card.
Open the invite
Click Open the SAMI OS Zapier invite. It opens Zapier in a new tab. Sign in to Zapier if you aren't already, then accept the invite to add SAMI OS to your account.
Accept the invite before you build a Zap. Until you do, you won't be able to search for or add SAMI OS as an app inside Zapier.
Step 2: Create an API key for the connection
Zapier authenticates to SAMI OS with an API key. Create one in the same panel, then paste it into Zapier when it asks you to connect your SAMI OS account.
Create the key
In the Zapier/API Keys panel, click Create key. Give it a recognizable name like "Zapier", choose the permissions the integration needs, and optionally set an expiry.
Copy the key
SAMI OS shows the full key once, with a copy button. Copy it right away — it's never shown again.
Paste it into Zapier
When Zapier prompts you to connect your SAMI OS account, paste the key. Zapier stores it and uses it for every Zap that touches SAMI OS.
Treat the API key like a password. It can reach the same records you can — your Contacts, Pipeline, and more — so revoke it from the panel if you ever stop using the integration.
For the full walkthrough on scopes and expiry, see Create and manage API keys.
Using the key in your Zaps
Once SAMI OS is connected, build Zaps as usual. Pick SAMI OS as a trigger or action, choose the event you want, and Zapier handles the rest using your stored key. A single key can power as many Zaps as you like — there's no need to create a new one per Zap.
Advanced: call the API directly
The prebuilt Zapier actions cover most needs. For anything they don't, you can call SAMI OS endpoints yourself from a Code by Zapier step. Use the API docs link in the Advanced section of the Zapier/API Keys panel for the available endpoints, request and response shapes, and how to authenticate with your key. This is also how you'd drive SAMI OS from your own scripts or SAMI Bots automations alongside Zapier.
