Configure your header, navigation, and footer
Set up your website's shared header, navigation links, and footer so they look right on every page.
Your header and footer are shared layout sections, so they appear on every page of your site. Edit them once in the builder's Design tab and the changes roll out everywhere — no need to touch each page.
Where to find header and footer settings
Open the builder from Website, then go to the builder and select the Design tab. Along the top you'll see a row of sub-sections — Colors, Fonts, Layout, Header, Footer, and Templates. The Header and Footer sections are what you'll use here.
The header and footer are site-wide layout sections. Any change you make applies to every page at once, so there's no separate copy to keep in sync.
Set up the header and navigation
The Header section controls your logo placement, scroll behavior, the phone number and call-to-action button, and your navigation links.
Choose the logo position
Set Logo Position to Left or Center to control where your logo sits in the bar.
Pick scroll behavior
Turn on Sticky header (stays visible on scroll) so the bar follows visitors down the page. Turn on Transparent over hero section to let the header blend into the top hero image and become solid as visitors scroll.
Show your phone number
Enable Show phone number to surface your contact number in the header for quick calls.
Add a CTA button
Enable Show CTA button, then fill in CTA Button Text (for example, "Get Started") and choose a destination under CTA Button Link. The link picker lists your existing pages — or switch to Custom URL... to point at any path or external address.
Edit navigation links
Under Navigation Links, give each row a Label and pick a page for its link. Use Add Link to add a row, or the x button beside a row to remove it. Reorder by editing labels and links to match the flow you want.
Keep navigation to a handful of links — Search, Buy, Sell, and Contact go a long way. A short, focused menu helps visitors find what they need without scanning a crowded bar.
Edit the footer
The Footer section holds the legal text at the bottom of every page plus the SAMI OS credit.
- Copyright Text — your copyright line, such as "2026 Your Name. All rights reserved."
- Disclaimer Text — a longer notice, typically MLS or fair-housing language, shown beneath the footer columns.
- Show "Powered by SAMI OS" — toggle this credit on or off to suit your branding.
Edits save automatically as you type — watch for the "Saving…" indicator in the builder. To see it all in context, preview your work on the Pages tab, where the live header and footer wrap every page. If you'd rather start fresh, the Templates sub-section can reset your theme, header, footer, and page layouts in one step.
For colors, fonts, and the rest of your site's look, head to Design and explore the Colors and Fonts sections.
