Connecting other tools and importing leads with SAMI

Have SAMI connect Follow Up Boss, Lofty, and other platforms so new leads flow into SAMI OS automatically.

SAMI can connect SAMI OS to the platforms you already use — like Follow Up Boss, Lofty, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, and CINC — so new leads flow in automatically. You describe what you want in plain English, and SAMI handles all the technical work for you.

How SAMI builds the connection

Think of SAMI as your own integration engineer. You won't touch a single setting or write a line of anything. SAMI does the technical work behind the scenes, shows you it's happening in a live terminal-style block, and only asks you questions about your business — never about technology.

To get started, open SAMI chat or head to Workflows and tell SAMI which platform you want to connect, for example: "Bring my new leads from Follow Up Boss into SAMI OS."

  1. Tell SAMI what you want

Say something like "Connect my Lofty account so new leads come into SAMI." SAMI confirms the plan in plain language before it starts.

  2. Hand over your access key

SAMI checks whether it already has a saved key for that platform and reuses it if so. If not, it opens a secure field and tells you exactly where to find your key in that platform's settings. Paste it in — SAMI stores it safely for next time.

  3. Let SAMI set up the connection

SAMI does the real work in a visible CLI block so you can watch it happen. It reads your platform's setup, looks at a sample of your recent leads, and asks you business questions — like which sources are buyers versus sellers, or whether manually created leads should be skipped.

  4. Create a test lead

SAMI asks you to add a quick test lead in your other platform. Just create one as you normally would — SAMI watches for it to arrive.

  5. SAMI verifies real data arrived

Before saying it's done, SAMI confirms the test lead actually came through and landed correctly in Contacts. Only then does it report that the connection is live.

SAMI never says a connection is finished until it has seen a real lead flow through end to end. If something doesn't work the first time, SAMI diagnoses it and tries a different approach on its own.

What you'll be asked

SAMI only asks questions about your business, the kind you can answer instantly:

  • Which lead sources are buyers and which are sellers
  • Whether manually created leads (like open-house walk-ins) should be imported or skipped
  • Whether every agent's leads should flow in, or only certain ones
  • What to do with leads that are missing a phone number

You'll never be asked anything technical. Behind the scenes, SAMI figures out the connection details, formats, and field mapping for you.

After the connection is live

Once leads are flowing in, you can have SAMI build follow-up on top of them — routing buyers and sellers to different sequences, or assigning a SAMI Bot to start outreach. New leads land in Contacts automatically, and you can review or edit the connection any time from Workflows.

Already have a list to bring over instead of a live connection? You can upload a spreadsheet directly — ask SAMI to import a CSV and it'll preview the contacts before adding them.
