Sharing files and photos with SAMI

Attach CSVs, PDFs, and images to SAMI chat so she can import contacts, set your branding, and pull listings from documents.

SAMI can read the files you share with her — a spreadsheet of leads, a listing PDF, or a logo image — and act on them right inside the chat. You attach a file, tell SAMI what you want, and she handles the rest.

Attach a file to chat

You can attach files anywhere the SAMI chat appears, including the full SAMI chat page and the chat widget that follows you across the app.

  1. Open SAMI

    Open the SAMI chat panel, or head to the full chat page for more room to work.

  2. Add your file

    Click the paperclip icon in the message box and pick a file, or drag a file straight onto the input. You can attach up to 5 files per message.

  3. Tell SAMI what to do

    Type a short instruction with your file — for example "import these contacts" or "use this as my logo" — then press Enter to send.

  4. Review and confirm

    SAMI reads the file, explains what she found, and waits for your go-ahead before doing anything that changes your data.

SAMI handles each file type differently: images are read with vision so she can actually see them, PDFs are read as documents so she can pull out text and structure, and CSV or text files are read inline as data.

What SAMI does with each file

The instruction you send alongside the file tells SAMI which job you want done.

  • Import a contact list (CSV). Attach a CSV and say "import these contacts." SAMI runs a dry-run preview first so you can see exactly what would be created or updated, then imports for real only after you confirm. Finished contacts land in your Contacts.
  • Set your logo or profile photo (image). Attach an image and say "use this as my logo" or "set this as my profile photo," and SAMI applies it to your branding.
  • Pull a listing from a PDF. Attach a property PDF and say "make a blog post about this" or ask SAMI to extract the listing. She reads the document, pulls out the title, details, and photos, and turns it into content you can publish on your website.
  • Update a website image. Attach an image and tell SAMI which section to use it for — for example "use this for my hero" — and she'll swap it into your site.

SAMI always confirms before making changes that affect your data. For contact imports she shows the dry-run preview first, so review it before approving the real import.

Talk to SAMI with your voice

Prefer to dictate? Click the microphone icon in the message box to speak instead of type. SAMI transcribes your words into the input as you talk, and you can edit before sending. Voice input works in browsers that support it, such as Chrome and Edge — if it isn't available, you'll see a quick note to switch browsers.
