Accepting an invitation to join a team

Accept a pending team invite from the onboarding screen and land in your organization's Dashboard.

When a teammate invites you to their organization in SAMI OS, the invite waits for you on the onboarding screen. Accepting it takes a few seconds and drops you straight into that organization's Dashboard.

Where your invite comes from

Invites are sent by email. An owner or admin on the team adds your email address under Settings → Team, picks the role you'll join as, and sends the invitation. Once that's done, your invite shows up automatically the next time you reach the onboarding screen.

You don't need to do anything special to receive it — sign in with the same email the invite was sent to, and SAMI OS surfaces it for you.

Sign in with the exact email address your teammate invited. Invites are matched to that address, so a different email won't show the pending invite.

Accept your invite

On the onboarding screen, your invitation appears under the Pending invites heading. The card shows the organization's name and the role you were invited as, such as "Invited as agent."

  1. Enter your phone number

    At the top of the screen, fill in the Your phone number field. SAMI OS uses this for the team directory and call routing, so it's required before you can accept. US format is preferred.

  2. Find your pending invite

    Look under Pending invites for the organization you expect to join. Confirm the organization name and the role listed on the card.

  3. Click Accept

    Select Accept on that invite card. The button reads "Accepting..." while SAMI OS adds you to the team.

  4. Land in your Dashboard

    Once you're added, SAMI OS opens that organization's Dashboard automatically. From there you can open your Inbox and start working.

Don't see a phone field error? It means you skipped the phone number. Add it at the top of the screen, then click Accept again.

What happens after you join

Your access is set by the role on the invite. Agents work their leads and Pipeline, while owners and admins can also manage the team and settings. If you were invited to more than one organization, accepting one doesn't remove the others — pending invites stay on the onboarding screen until you accept them.

If your invite isn't there, ask the teammate who invited you to confirm it was sent to this email and is still pending. They can resend or check its status under Settings → Team.
