Understanding your dashboard
Read your SAMI OS dashboard: the greeting, SAMI chat, and controls for picking a view, date range, and comparison.
The dashboard is your home screen in SAMI OS — the first thing you see when you sign in. It greets you, puts SAMI one question away, and shows the metrics that matter to your business.
What's on the dashboard
When you open the Dashboard, the top of the page shows a few things in order:
- A greeting and SAMI chat. A time-of-day greeting with your first name sits up top, alongside a prompt that reads "Ask SAMI about your business...". Type a question — or use the mic — to ask SAMI about your numbers without leaving the page.
- The dashboard title. Just below the greeting, the name of the dashboard you're currently viewing appears in bold.
- The builder controls. A small toolbar lets you switch dashboards and adjust the time window.
- The widgets. The rest of the page is the dashboard itself — charts and metric cards built from your live data.
Every organization has a default dashboard, which loads automatically until you pick a different one. What you see can be filtered by your access level, so two people in the same org may see different widgets on the same board.
Choose a view and time window
The builder controls under the title are where you tune what the dashboard shows.
Pick a dashboard
Use the Dashboard dropdown to switch between the boards your org has set up. The selected board's name appears in the title above.
Set the time range
Open the Time range menu and choose a window — Today, Last 7 days, Last 14 days, Last 30 days, This month, Last month, This quarter, or All time. Every widget updates to match.
Turn on a comparison
Use the Compare menu to measure the current range against Previous period, Same period last month, or Same period last year. Choose No comparison to turn it off.
Comparison needs a prior window to measure against, so it's unavailable when the range is set to All time. Pick a bounded range like Last 30 days to compare periods.
Dig deeper from here
The dashboard is a launchpad, not the whole story. From the numbers you see, jump straight into the records behind them. Open Pipeline to work your deals, review automated calls in SAMI Bots, or head to Analytics for the full reporting view. When you need to act on a single lead, Contacts is one click away.
