Filter and triage Inbox items
Use the Inbox type and time filters to narrow your view, share a filtered link, and clear the day's items fast.
Your Inbox collects every open task, message, call, email, and SAMI item in one place. Two filters — type and time — let you cut that list down to exactly what you want to handle next.
Filter by type and time
The Inbox has two controls stacked at the top of the list. Use the type dropdown to pick a channel, then the time toggle to scope the window. They work together, so you can land on something as specific as "calls from today."
Open your Inbox
Head to Inbox. By default it shows all open items across every type and time.
Pick a type
Use the type dropdown to choose All, Tasks, Messages, Calls, Emails, or SAMI. Picking one hides every other type so you can focus on a single channel. SAMI items are activity from your SAMI Bots.
Scope the time window
Use the time toggle below the dropdown to choose All, Today, Past, or Future. This filters the items already matching your type selection — the two filters stack rather than replace each other.
Work the list and clear it
Open an item to reply or act on it, then mark it done so it leaves the list. Repeat until the view is empty.
Today is calculated against your account timezone, not the server's. An item shows under Today when its timestamp falls inside your local day. Past is anything before today began, and Future is anything dated tomorrow or later.
Share or reload a filtered view
Your filter choices are stored in the page URL. Picking Calls and Today, for example, adds type and time to the address bar (when a filter is set to All, it's left out to keep links clean). The currently open item is tracked too.
That makes a filtered view easy to reuse:
- Reload safely. Refreshing the page keeps your filters exactly as they were.
- Bookmark a routine. Save the URL for a view you check often, like today's calls.
- Share a link. Send a teammate the URL and they land on the same filtered Inbox.
Build a daily triage habit: start on Tasks → Today to knock out due work, switch the type to Messages and Calls to clear replies, then check SAMI to review what your bots handled overnight. Sweep Past last to catch anything overdue.
Reset to everything
To widen the view again, set the type dropdown back to All and the time toggle back to All. Your full open Inbox returns, and the URL drops the filter parameters. From there you can jump to a contact's full history in Contacts or pull up threads in Messages.
