Get started with your Inbox
Your Inbox is one feed that gathers due tasks, replies, missed calls, and SAMI suggestions so nothing slips.
Your Inbox is a single feed that pulls together everything needing your attention right now — due tasks, inbound texts, missed calls, unread emails, and SAMI suggestions. Think of it as your daily "what do I deal with next" queue.
What lands in your Inbox
The Inbox gathers five kinds of items from the last 7 days into one list, newest first:
- Task — an open task assigned to you that still needs doing.
- SMS — an inbound text a contact sent you.
- Call — an inbound call that went unanswered (no answer, busy, canceled, or failed).
- Email — an unread inbound email from a connected mailbox.
- SAMI — a suggested next action that SAMI has proposed for you to review.
Tasks show every open task assigned to you, regardless of age. The four communication types — texts, missed calls, and unread emails — are limited to the past 7 days, and an item drops off the moment you reply, read it, or mark it done.
The Inbox is your action queue, not a message archive. To browse full back-and-forth conversation threads with a contact, head to Messages instead.
Work through it: list and detail
The Inbox uses a split layout — a scrollable list on the left and a detail pane on the right.
Open the Inbox
Go to Inbox. Items load automatically, sorted with the most recent at the top.
Pick an item from the list
Select any row to open it in the detail pane. Each item shows its type, the linked contact, and how long ago it came in.
Take the next action
The detail pane gives you the right control for the type: reply to a text, read an email's preview and open a reply, call a contact back, or review a SAMI suggestion.
Clear it out
Choose Mark done (or Mark complete on a task) to remove the item from your queue. Completed tasks also update on your Tasks list.
Whenever an item is tied to a person, their name is a link straight to the contact record in Contacts — handy for context before you reply or call back.
Reading the count badges
Across the top of the list, each type carries its own count badge. The number is simply how many open items of that type are currently in your Inbox — All is the total, and Tasks, Messages, Calls, Emails, and SAMI each count their own type. Clearing an item lowers the matching badge in real time, so you can watch the queue shrink as you work.
SAMI suggestions are review-only. You can open one to read what SAMI recommends and jump into SAMI AI for the details, but there's no "done" button — acting on the suggestion is what clears it.
