Log SAMI activity to CINC
Connect CINC with OAuth and choose which SAMI calls, texts, notes, labels, and answered transfers write to the matching lead.
Connect CINC external CRM logging to copy selected SAMI activity to leads that already exist in CINC. This connection uses the same five switches available for Lofty, Follow Up Boss, and Sierra Interactive. It logs activity after it happens in SAMI OS; it does not create another lead or send another text.
Before you connect
You need the domain for your CINC site and permission to sign in and authorize CINC. Use the site domain your organization works from, such as example.com.
Enter the CINC site domain and complete the CINC authorization page. Never paste an access token, refresh token, or any other CINC credential into SAMI OS.
Connect CINC external CRM logging
Open external CRM logging
Go to Settings → Integrations and select SAMI external CRM logging.
Select CINC
Choose the CINC tile. The tile shows Not connected until CINC authorization finishes.
Enter the CINC site domain
Enter the domain in CINC site domain, then select Connect with CINC. SAMI OS sends you to CINC to authorize the connection.
Authorize in CINC
Sign in to CINC if prompted and approve the requested access. When CINC sends you back to SAMI OS, the tile shows Connected with the CINC site and connected agent.
Choose what SAMI logs
Review the five switches and leave on only the activity you want copied to CINC.
What each switch controls
- Log SAMI calls in CINC adds a CINC note beginning with the exact prefix
SAMI inbound call:orSAMI outbound call:. - Log SAMI SMS messages in CINC adds a CINC note beginning with the exact prefix
SAMI inbound SMS:orSAMI outbound SMS:. It records the message that already happened and does not send another text. - Log SAMI notes in CINC adds a CINC note beginning with the exact prefix
SAMI note:. - Log SAMI tags in CINC uses the SAMI tag name as a CINC label and applies that label to the lead.
- Assign CINC lead to answering agent after answered transfer assigns the lead only after an answered transfer when the answering SAMI user's email matches exactly one active CINC agent. Capitalization and surrounding spaces do not affect the email match.
How SAMI matches the CINC lead
SAMI removes punctuation and a leading US country code from the contact phone, then looks up CINC with the normalized 10-digit number. If more than one valid CINC lead has that phone, SAMI uses the lead with the newest registered_date. If no lead matches, SAMI skips the CINC copy and does not create a lead.
Keep the same US phone number on the SAMI OS contact and CINC lead. For answered transfers, keep each team member's SAMI OS email aligned with one active CINC agent email.
Verify the connection
Create a new eligible SAMI call, SMS message, system note, tag, or answered transfer with its switch on. Open the matching CINC lead and confirm the new note, label, or assignment appears there.
Disconnect or reconnect CINC logging
Choose Disconnect on the CINC tile to unlink only the SAMI external CRM logging card. This does not disconnect the shared CINC account used elsewhere in SAMI OS, and it does not change the activity that already exists in CINC.
If the tile reports an authorization failure or says CINC needs attention, disconnect the logging card and reconnect it through Connect with CINC. Enter the site domain again and complete CINC OAuth; do not try to repair authorization by pasting a token.
