Create your first SAMI Bot

Spin up your first SAMI Bot from a real estate preset or the guided interview in just a few clicks.

A SAMI Bot is an AI voice agent that calls and qualifies your leads for you. You can create your first one in under a minute by starting from a real estate preset or by letting SAMI build it with you.

Open the New Bot dialog

Head to SAMI Bots and select New Bot in the top right. This opens the New SAMI Bot dialog, where you give the bot a name and choose how you want to start.

  1. Name your bot

In the Name field, type something you'll recognize later — for example, "Buyer Leads" or "New Listing Inquiries." This is just an internal label, so you can rename it anytime from the editor.

  2. Choose where to start from

Under Start from, pick one of the three options. Each preset gives you a complete, working bot; the guided interview builds one with you in a short conversation.

  3. Create the bot

For a preset, select Create — SAMI builds the bot and drops you straight into the editor. For Build with SAMI, select Start guided interview to begin the conversation instead.

Pick a starting point

The Start from section offers three choices:

  • Standard Buyer (real estate) — pre-filled scripts and qualification questions tuned for buyer leads.
  • Standard Seller (real estate) — the same, tuned for seller and listing leads.
  • Build with SAMI — runs the guided interview so you can shape a more custom flow in a short conversation.

Both presets create a fully configured bot: a greeting, qualification questions, call outcomes, and follow-up actions are all in place. Nothing is locked — every script and setting is yours to edit in the bot editor after the bot is created.

Not sure which preset fits? Start with the one closest to your lead type, then fine-tune the questions and greeting in the editor. It's faster than building from scratch, and you can change everything later.

What happens next

How you start determines where you land:

  • A preset takes you to the bot editor with all scripts pre-filled. Review the persona, greeting, and qualification questions, then publish when you're ready.
  • Build with SAMI opens the guided interview, where SAMI asks about your business and assembles the bot from your answers.

Either way, your new bot appears in your list on the SAMI Bots page, ready to review, test, and connect to a workflow.

Creating a bot doesn't start any calls. A bot only reaches out to leads once you publish it and enroll contacts — typically through a workflow.
