What are SAMI Bots?

Understand SAMI Bots — AI voice and SMS agents that call and text your leads from your assigned phone numbers.

A SAMI Bot is an AI voice and SMS agent that calls and texts your leads from the phone numbers assigned to it. Each bot handles exactly one lead type, so you build a focused agent for each kind of lead you work.

What a SAMI Bot does

Think of each bot as a tireless teammate with one job. It speaks with your persona, voice, and company details, asks your qualification questions, and follows up over both calls and text. When a conversation reaches an outcome — qualified, not interested, callback, and so on — the bot can tag the contact, leave a note, notify you, or hand the lead off.

Every bot is tied to a single lead category (one bot, one lead type). That 1:1 design keeps each agent's greeting, questions, and scripts tightly matched to the people it talks to, instead of trying to cover everything at once.

One bot equals one lead type. If you work buyers and sellers, build a separate SAMI Bot for each rather than stretching one bot across both.

The two bot types

When you create a bot, you choose how it works:

  • Outbound sales agent — calls and texts new leads on a cadence, then answers their callbacks. Best for fresh leads you want worked the moment they come in.
  • Inbound-only — answers incoming calls, identifies why the caller is reaching out, and routes them. Best for a main line where leads call you first.

Not sure which fits? See outbound sales agent vs. inbound-only for a side-by-side comparison before you commit.

Find your bots on the SAMI Bots page

  1. Open SAMI Bots

Head to SAMI Bots. Summary cards across the top show your total bots, how many are active, how many are draft or paused, and which bot was updated most recently.

  2. Scan the list

Each row shows the bot's name, its preset, and a status badge — active once it is live, or draft or paused while you are still setting it up. Click any name to open that bot's editor.

  3. Add or enroll

Use New Bot to start a fresh agent from a buyer or seller preset, or build one with the guided interview. Use Bulk Enrollments to push a group of existing leads into an outbound bot at once.

A new bot starts as a draft so you can review every script first. Publish it when you are ready — only an active bot will call or text your leads.

Once a bot is live, its calls, texts, and outcomes flow back into the rest of your workspace, so the same activity shows up alongside your Contacts and Inbox.
