Write and publish blog posts

Write, organize, and publish blog posts on your agent website to drive organic search traffic and leads.

Publishing market updates and buying tips on your agent website is one of the easiest ways to earn organic search traffic and capture new leads. The Blog tab in the website builder gives you a full rich-text editor to write, organize, and publish posts.

Write a blog post

Open the website builder and switch to the Blog tab to manage your posts. From the Blog posts list you can see every post and its status, then start a new one.

  1. Open the Blog tab

    Head to the website builder and open the Blog area, then click New Post.

  2. Add a title and excerpt

    Give the post a clear Title and a short Excerpt (a one- to two-sentence summary). The excerpt shows up on cards and in search results, so make it count.

  3. Set a cover image, author, and category

    Upload or paste a Cover Image URL, fill in the Author Name, and pick a Category from the dropdown. Add Tags as a comma-separated list, like market trends, buying tips.

  4. Write the body

    Compose your post in the Body editor. It is a full rich-text (Tiptap) editor, so you can add headings, bold and italic text, lists, and links.

  5. Save a draft or publish

    Click Save Draft to keep working privately, or Publish to push the post live. A title and body are required before you can save.

A descriptive title and a strong excerpt double as your search snippet. Write them for the reader scanning Google, not just for your site.

Organize posts with categories

Categories keep your blog tidy and help visitors browse by topic. From the Blog posts list, click Categories to open the manager.

  • Create a category by typing a name and pressing Enter or the add button. SAMI generates a URL slug automatically.
  • Delete a category by hovering over it and clicking the trash icon. Posts in that category simply become uncategorized — they are not deleted.
  • Filter your posts by clicking a category pill above the list to show only posts in that category, or All to see everything.

Show posts on your site

Published posts surface in two places automatically. Add a Blog/News section to any page in the page editor to feature recent post cards, and SAMI builds a full blog index at /blog on your live site with an individual page for each post at /blog/your-post-slug.

Only posts with a status of published appear on your live site. Drafts stay hidden until you publish them. Each published post becomes its own indexable page, which is what builds your organic search footprint over time.
