Meet SAMI, the AI assistant built into SAMI OS, and learn where to find it and what it can do.

SAMI is the AI assistant built into SAMI OS. Ask it about your contacts, deals, tasks, and pipeline in plain English — and it can take action for you, too.

What SAMI can do

SAMI works from your real workspace data, so its answers reflect the contacts, deals, and tasks you actually have — not generic advice. You can ask it questions and ask it to do things, all in the same conversation.

  • Answer questions about your business — pull up a contact, check what's happening with a deal, list your hot leads, or get a quick pipeline summary.
  • Take action for you — create a contact, add a task, send a text, or start SAMI AI outreach for a lead.
  • Keep your pipeline moving — surface stale leads, flag what needs attention, and suggest the next step.

SAMI only sees the records you have access to. Ask about your Contacts, your Pipeline, or your Tasks and the answers come straight from your own workspace.

Where to find SAMI

There are two ways to reach SAMI, and both share the same assistant.

  1. Use the AI Chat button in the header

    Click AI Chat in the top header — it sits in the bar at the top of every page. This opens SAMI's chat panel right where you are, so you can ask a quick question without leaving the screen you're on. Click it again (it flips to Close) to tuck the panel away.

  2. Or open the full AI Chat page

    For a focused conversation, head to the AI Chat page. You get a full-screen view with more room to read SAMI's responses and work through a longer back-and-forth.

  3. Type your request

    Enter a question or instruction and press Enter to send (Shift + Enter adds a new line). SAMI streams its answer back, runs any tools it needs, and shows you what it did.

Try a starter prompt

Not sure where to begin? When you open the AI Chat page, SAMI greets you with example prompts you can borrow:

  • "What's happening with the Johnson deal?"
  • "Show me all my hot leads"
  • "What tasks are due today?"
  • "Give me a pipeline summary"
  • "Follow up with everyone I haven't contacted in a week"

Speak to SAMI the way you'd brief a teammate. A request like "text Maria to confirm Saturday's showing" is enough — SAMI finds the contact and handles the rest.

Because SAMI shares the same workspace as the rest of SAMI OS, anything it creates or updates shows up where you'd expect — a new task in your Tasks, a text in your Inbox, and outreach against your Pipeline.
