Edit, reschedule, or update an appointment
Change the title, time, location, contact, or notes on any appointment with inline edits that save the moment you finish.
Plans change, and your appointments should keep up. On the Appointments list, every field on an appointment is editable in place — click a field, change it, and the update saves on its own.
Open an appointment to edit it
Each appointment shows as a single summary row with its title, type, status, time, and contact. To reveal the editable fields, you expand the row.
Find the appointment
Go to Appointments and scroll to the one you want to change.
Expand the row
Click anywhere on the summary row. It opens to show every field — Title, Type, Start, End, Location, Outcome, Contact, and Description — laid out for editing. Click the row again (or the chevron) to collapse it.
There's no separate edit screen and no Save button to hunt for. Each field saves on its own as soon as you finish, so you can change one detail and move on.
Edit fields inline
Inside the expanded row, click directly on any field to start editing it. Type a new value or pick from a list, then confirm — the change is written to that appointment right away.
Update the basics
Click Title to rename the appointment, or Type to switch it between Showing, Open House, Listing Presentation, Buyer Consultation, Inspection, Closing, Meeting, and Other. Location and Description are free text — use Description for prep notes, lockbox codes, or anything the team needs.
Set the outcome
Use the Outcome field to mark how it went — Completed, Cancelled, No Show, or Rescheduled. Until you set one, the appointment reads as Scheduled.
Reschedule by changing the time
To move an appointment, edit its Start and End fields. Both open a date-and-time picker.
Change the start
Click the Start value and choose the new date and time. This is the time that drives where the appointment sorts in your list.
Adjust the end
Click End to set or update when it wraps up. If an appointment has no end time yet, the field reads Set end time until you add one.
Changing the time updates the appointment but doesn't set an outcome. If you moved it because a client pushed the date, set Outcome to Rescheduled so your records reflect why.
Reassign or open the contact
The Contact field connects the appointment to a person in your CRM. If no one is attached yet, click Assign contact and pick someone from your list. Once a contact is linked, their name becomes a link — click it to jump straight to that person's record in Contacts, where you can review history before the meeting.
For the calendar view of the same appointments, or to add a new one, head to the Calendar or click New Appointment on the Appointments page.
