Navigate the calendar month view
Move between months, jump back to today, and open any day to see its appointments and tasks.
Your Calendar opens to a full-month grid with a side panel for the day you're focused on. This article covers how to move through months, jump back to today, and read the color-coded chips so you always know what's next.
Move through the month grid
The grid fills the left side of the page and shows six weeks at a time, starting on Sunday. The current month and year sit in the center of the navigation bar.
Step forward or back a month
Use the left and right chevron buttons on either side of the month name to move one month at a time. The grid and the side panel update together.
Jump back to today
Click the Today button on the right of the navigation bar. It returns you to the current month and selects today's date in one tap, no matter how far you've scrolled.
Spot today at a glance
Today's cell is shaded and its date number sits in a filled circle, so it stands out even when you're browsing a different month.
Open a day
Click any day cell to select it. A ring outlines the selected day and the side panel on the right fills with that day's events. Click the same day again to deselect it.
Days from the previous and next month appear dimmed at the top and bottom of the grid. You can still click them — selecting one navigates the side panel to that date without changing the month label.
Read the event chips
Each day cell stacks small chips for what's scheduled. The color tells you the type and importance at a glance.
- Appointment chips lead with a calendar icon and the start time, followed by the title — for example, a showing or a buyer consultation. Their color reflects the appointment type.
- Task chips show a checkbox icon and the title, color-coded by priority: urgent, high, medium, or low. Completed tasks appear muted with a line through the title.
If a busy day has more chips than fit, the cell scrolls so nothing is hidden. Use the Filter button in the header to hide appointments, hide tasks, or show completed tasks when the grid feels crowded — see filter calendar events for the full set of toggles.
Use the day panel and Upcoming list
The right side of the screen has two cards that keep your day in view.
The top card is the selected day panel. When you click a date, it lists every appointment and task on that day with times, locations, and the linked contact. You can mark a task complete right there, or use Add to this day to create an event without leaving the calendar.
Below it, the Upcoming card always lists your next five events in date order, starting from today — a quick read on what's coming even while you browse other months. Each entry shows the title, date, time, and contact name.
